Psalm 104:13-15 From your lofty abode you water the mountains; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your work. You cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for people to use, to bring forth food from the earth, and wine to gladden the human heart, oil to make the face shine, and bread to strengthen the human heart.
Proverbs 12:11 Those who till their land will have plenty of food, but those who follow worthless pursuits have no sense.
1 Corinthians 10:23-26, 31 ‘All things are lawful’, but not all things are beneficial. ‘All things are lawful’, but not all things build up. Do not seek your own advantage, but that of others. Eat whatever is sold in the meat market without raising any question on the ground of conscience, for ‘the earth and its fullness are the Lord’s.’ So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.
